Any ideas on the tweeters in the front doors? Crutchfield has no data and carries nothing, so I'm at a loss.
OTOH, if the other 4-6 speakers have good response, you don't need them.
Still...

i've only seen stand alone tweeters come with component speaker sets. If you find where to get a set of the stand alone ones you can velcro/attach wherever let us know!

I wonder if we can get them at Radio Shack or a similar (but higher-grade) component supplier?

you guys dont already have tweeters? If not, I wouldn't be surprised. Theres some stuff on My RS, that I have'nt seen on other troopers. I have tweeters where the side veiw mirrors, I just thought they came in all troopers. In 93, were the cd changer and am/fm cassette deck together an option, or standard?

On my '94, you had to get the CD player (single disc) as an option. Went in above the ashtray to replace the open generic holder.

Mine has tweeters behind the rear-view mirrors. It came with the factory CD player, too.

Snag some cheapos from Wally world. Or, check eBay.
I'd just hot glue those bad boys into place.
Definitely have to use a crossover with 'em, though.

I went with the Alpine component 6.5s and separate tweeters (mounted behind the side mirrors) and they KICK ass. i think they are the 176a model.
I found the wiring for tweeters behind the triangualr side vew panel. Didn't use it though because the Alpine's came with a crossover that was fed from the wiring that fed the 6.5"s.
Note: the 6.5s needed to be cut at the top to fit my 93.

I'm getting 6.5's soon and it looks like there will definately be some fit issues - how exactly did you cut the top to make them fit??

I negotiated free install so the headache was all theirs. I have had some issues with the depth (noticed today) on the passenger side...when i tighten the cones in, the magnet pushes the door panel out and the door clips click out. It's a very tight margin. tonight I lined the driver with foam and it stopped the vibration which i thought was the panel. so all is good but it IS tight. I am putting a 15" sub in in the next 2 weeks so I'll roll the bottom 150 hz off the front components making any vibration issue moot.
