Does any onw know where I can get some good step rails at a reasonable price? I am having a hard time finding any for the Trooper.

If you are ever going to go wheelin, you might want to get bolt- on ones, so you can remove them before you get hung up/bend/break them.

If you want step rails for looks fine, but a good not too expensive alternative is shrocksworks slider bars. They look great like a step bar but also add protection for the rocker panels and can be used with a high lift jack to raise the truck. www.shrockworks.com/isubars.htmFor $298 a set they look as good as most step bars but actually offer protection.

I totally agree. I've been meaning to post a link to the Shrockworks goodies on the board here, but haven't gotten around to it.
Independent4x is supposed to have some, or at least, be in the process.

I picked up some black powder Westin bars at 'autoprofection.com' for $210. Bolted on in about a hour. Westin is about the only manufacturer that I found with step bars for a Trooper.
