I have a short in my radio, to where when i turn it up past level 20(30max level), it will stay on, but theres no power to the speakers. it did this before I changed out to the new Pioneer stereo. I did the sway myself, and re-checked the wiring. I need to change the fuse maybe, I can't tell. It happens most likely when the volume is up loud(windows are down) and I am accelerating. Any ideas?

I would try checking the fuse, checking your ground wire to make sure you have a good solid ground, and if both of those are fine then I would try hitting the reset button on you deck and see if that does anything.

Yeah, I'd check power connections one mo' 'gain.
You running the stock speakers? Their power rating is super-low.
Could be that they're clipping so bad that they just go flat.
