Okay, am I the only guy who HATES the ^%#$@(* rear-door hold-open feature? I'm planning on removing it, simply because more than once I've had to take an extra trip to the car because my hands were full and I couldn't close the %$#(@^ door. NOT fun when it's ^^%@#@ raining! Did I mention that I hate this feature? Is there any reason NOT to remove it?

I agree it is a frustrating little thing, but next time you're parked on an incline to the right you will be glad it's there.
I myself have dreamed of a cable actuated trigger-type release for that hold-open, mounted in the inside handle. That way you could release the catch and close the door with one hand.

YEAH! That would be cool. But, I agree that it needs to stay. Can't tell you how many times gusty winds have slammed the little door into me. I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of the big door doing that.

Oh, yeah. Right now, as a matter of fact. Surprising that it's not Chicago.
