I wonder if anyone can help me with an idea i have had for modding my trooper
While wheeling the weekend, it was cold and wet, and i was trying to drive up an inclined grass slope in my turbo diesel auto. (made a change from digging friends Range Rover out of the mud for 3 hours!, if anyone wants pic of 3 Landrovers stuck in the mud let me know)
Isuzu never officially sold the turbo diesel auto here (mine is Japanese import) and there is no "winter" driving mode on my auto box like there is on the petrol one that they sell here.
(guess they dont do much winter driving there?)
My question is to see if it is possible to fit the petrol automatic transmission driving mode switches on to a diesel auto box, or are the diesel autos they sell where other members are have the winter driving mode switch?
As being able to pull away in 2nd gear in slippy situations would be a great help.
Many thanks
Adrian

Ok,
Guess it is now screwdrivers out, and remove the console to see if there are any extra wires that aren't being used.
Many thanks for your help
