Hi!
I'm on the verge of installing one 15" in the way back with a mono amp bolted to the side of the box. I'm wondering if any of you guys have advice as to where to run the power and audio cables from the head unit to the way back corner (40 side of the 60/40 door). Also where is a good place to wire the ground to back there??? Any tips are appreciated!

OK let me tell you how I did mine. I ran my wires srt8 down from the head unit then throught the center console, under the seat, under the door sill plates both in the front and back and then i brought them out right where the seat belt for the back seat comes out, then under the rare seat and out the back. where it come out from the seat belt i put the wires in a black thingy to cover them so that they wouldn't show. I used one of the luggage tie-downs thingy for my ground, but you have to make sure you do it under the carpet and i had to remove the plastic part of the tie down so that the ground wire could be bolted to the body. This is how i did mine i haven't had any problems since.

Thanks dna, that's pretty much what we came up with yesterday. except I went thru the dash to the right of the front passenger seat and then like you thru the door sill plates and out of the seat belt thingy on the back passenger side. Yeah I plan to use the black tube like stuff to hide the wires. I was surprized how much power cable i needed! Because I wanted to came down the passenger side I had to cross the vehicle 2x in the front - 31' total! From the batt across the engine (around the back) thru at the drivers feet, then across the dash then back.
I'm thinking of putting the box on it's side with the woofer facing out to save room. This will mostly keep it behind the smaller back door...what do you think about the direction? I'm thinking people face their subs all sorts of ways and bass is pretty omnidirectional, but one guy who came by begged to differ. We'll test it of course. our test last night just had the sub box and sub facing up because we havent drilled the holes for the sub yet.

Glad I could be of help to you. I just bolted up my amp to the back of my rear seat. I just love your trooper. I think the full black look is great on it. I wish my trooper could look that nice.
