I am going to install new ome 912 springs and 2 inch spacers over christmas along with doing a balljoint flip with a spacer. I spend most of my time on the street, but like to go wheeling. Most of my off roading will be in the snow, sand, and a little mud, any suggestions?
I was looking at BFG ats or interco truxus mt or truxus sts
Your advice is appreciated

I have been looking at these in a 265/75/16. www.bridgestonetire.com/dpp/glamourindex2.asp?passproductid=171My 02 Trooper came with Bridgestone and they ride very nice. Just to darn small (245/70/16) . 98% of my driving is highway anyway. I had a set of BFG MT's on my pickup and they very good in the mud and snow. Just a lot of $$$. Just my $.02

D693 Duelers like those are AWESOME! For an A/T, I've never used better. They glue to the snow, they're really good on the ice, and kick-ass off road.
Highly recommended by me.

ATs are better in the snow, MTs are better in the mud of course, sand depends on the kind of sand. So you make the call. Hard to go wrong with BFGs, expensive though.

This summer I bought a set of Firestone (yes Firestone) Destination MTs. 265's... They are the best MT I have ever had! Much more quiet than the BFG and cheaper also. They perform well in mud and sand, can't say anything about snow yet. Old Man Winter doesn't get to SE VA much.
I got them from Tirerack.com. Good service from them also. my $.02. Good Luck

I just bought a set of Dunlop Land Rover RVs for my Trooper and I have to say that they are probably the best tire I could have gotten since I don't go off road that often. There are absolutely NO places to ride in this end of the state, unless you count the lake bottoms. I need to plan a trip to a ORV park to go off roading.

I have goodyear MT/R's and i have almost 47k miles on them, i live in the mtns and we see hella snow in the winter and the ice is really bad here too and i had no troubles last year. ive also made it through some places that I shouldnt have without lockers and it was deff bc of these tires. By far the best tire on the market. just ask or read around and im sure you'll find the same....... well worth the money. good luck and hope this helps
