It's been concluded that the biggest tire that will fit on an unmodified Trooper without rubbing is a 32x10.50" tire. You can go bigger, but lift, fender trimming, and different wheels will quickly come into the equation.
The bolt pattern for all Isuzu light trucks (Troopers, Amigos, Axioms, Rodeos, Vehicross, Honda Passport and Acura SLX) except for the Hombre, is 6x5.5 or 6x139.7 with a hub diameter of 4.3" That means any Chevy, Toyota, Mitsubishi, or Nissan wheel will fit, as long as the hub diameter is large enough. Most 20" and larger aftermarket wheels designed for GM 6-lug vehicles should fit in theory, but the hub bore is a consideration, as well as the fact that the hubs on Isuzu vehicles stick out quite a bit, making it hard to put the center cap on many wheels.
