Looking for the storage pocket that gets replaced by the factory CD changer. I replaced my factory radio with an Alpine, so now I have this gaping hole I need to fill.

Why not fill it with something you can use, like an el-cheapo CB or something like that? Just my 2 cents....

Oh, believe me! The pocket will be temporary only (one ofn the reasons I don't much feel like paying the Isuzu dealer $30 for it)!
I fully intend to install a DIN-sized CB into that slot just as soon as I know enough to buy a good one for a decent price, along with a suitable antenna.

Cobra 29!
I actually have my parents Cobra 29 from 1977, still works great if you can live with 23 channels. Unfortunately it has the mic jack on the side.
Last year I bought a new Cobra 29NW I ran across at the Fingerhut company store for $60 (that's about half price!). Pretty much the Cadillac of CBs...
Try the Firestik website for lots of good technical info.

If space is a concern, I'd also check out the Cobra 75, or the cool new 76XTR.The cool thing is, you can mount the guts of the unit out of sight under the dash, or somewhere, and the mic whereever you want, since all of the controls are on the mic unit. They're anywhere from $75-$120, depending on where you buy them, but they're cool.

Hey, If you still want the storage box, let me know. I think I still have the one from my '94, but would have to dig for it. I put the factory CD player in after I bought the truck new and think I saved the box (somewhere).
