[glow=red,2,300]UPDATE!!!!!![/glow] Call him if you want to talk him down on price. I think he's getting more and more anxious to move them, so give him a holler with your best price!
No kidding. 36" H1 tires. Military surplus from Fort Riley, KS.
$400/set for almost new
$300/set for really good ones
$250/set for pretty good
$200/set for quite good
$150/set for still really useable
$125/set for fine for anything but ice and heavy rain, but still good for the trail
$25 each for okay spares.
These tires are $450 each new, and are extremely tough. They say Military right on them. They are made by Goodyear, and are really cool. Probably won't work for anyone with a Trooper who hasn't lifted it as high as bbehr, but you might have another rig, or know someone with a taller rig.
They are for 16.5" wheels. They will not fit factory Isuzu wheels. The ONLY place I've found for 6x5.5 bolt pattern wheels in a 16.5" diameter is here: 4WheelParts.com
They belong to a friend of mine, who I trust implicitly, and he is prepared to ship them cheap. Also, he said that if there's any sidewall on them when you get them, that he'll replace the tire with an equivalent one. If it's got a hole in the tread, though, get it repaired locally at a tire shop. You might have to take it in there loose (off of the vehicle,) and tell them it's for a trail rig, as they won't want to risk a lawsuit repairing it for a road vehicle, if the repair is more than a little nail hole.
Don't let me scare you off of these by saying that, though. He will NOT send you a tire he knows to be leaking. I'm putting my reputation on the line, and he's not going to jeopardize that, any more than his own.
