Hi I'm Noel from the Southwest of Western Australia. Just stumbled across this site on a search engine and thought I'd sign up. Looking forward to sharing ideas and experiences with other owners. I'e got a 1992 Holden Jackaroo SWB 3.2 V6 with ECB bullbar, 2" Toughdog/Rancho RS9000 S/lift, 32x11.5x15" BFG muds, Lokka front difflock, Fact LSD rear, Front swaybar disconnect, ARB compressor, 2.5" exhaust system, genie extractors, Finer filter etc... Love it, awesome vehicle! Here's some pics... Cheers, Noel

Noel, Nice looking truck. I have the same vehicle, only a 93(Trooper RS here in the US). What model bull bar is that? I have been debating putting something like that on mine. Looks great! If possible, can you shoot me some more pix of yours? Thanks in advance!!! ltn0726@comcast.net

Sweet Jackaroo! I warn you though, everyone on this board is, at some point, going to call you "mate." Not a lot of OZ exposure here in the states besides Paul Hogan and old Mel Gibson movies. Otherwise, it's references to Outback Steakhouse, and other OZ-stereotypical stuff. In all seriousness, though, welcome to the board! Now, for the questions. I need to know where and from whom you got that front difflock. Is the brand Lokka? Also, it'd be great if you could post some pics of you quick disco setup, and where you got them, or how you made them. Sweet rig, man. Glad to have ya!

As you know there are'nt many of the short wheel base variety around. I actually like this fact as you can built up something a little different to the norm... You may have seen the one that this guy somewhere in South America did a sas to. Has awesome flex to go along with its great looks. I will try to find the link to the pics. The bullbar is an East Coast Bullbars (ECB) Adventure Tube. www.ecb.com.au/ I believe than there is a guy who goes by the name of Paisan on 4x4Wire who imports them into the US so you should be able to get hold of one. Got more pics at: community.webshots.com/user/westoztroopa so check it out... Cheers, Noel

Hehe, we're all aware of the stereotypes down here. The other big name that you missed is Steve Irwin the "Crocodile Hunter". Huge over there aparently! ;D Dont at all mind being called mate. After all it is Aussie for friend and the term actually does get used a lot in every day life... My locker is a "4 Wheel Drive Systems" Lokka lockright which is basically an Aussie made version of the Powertrax Lockright in the US so nothing new to you I'm afraid. Works very well though! As for the swaybar disco, this particular on was originally designed for the Mitsubishi Pajero (Montero) but I managed to be the first (and possibly only?) Jackaroo owner to fit one. Works fairly well but I dont know if they are being made any more. Anyway here is a link to a thread on our Aussie Isuzu forum where I discussed it and posted a few pics... www.outerlimits4x4.com/PHP_Modules/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=5606Cheers Mate, Noel

Nice looking Jackaroo! We don't see too many SWB of the Trooper/Jackaroo over here. Or at least I don't.
I would like to request your help. I want to buy some Jackaroo emblems so I can replace the Trooper emblems on my truck so I won't blend in as well with the crowd. If you know of how I can go about ordering some, let me know.

Now THAT would be cool. Jackaroo emblems. If you could check with your local dealership, that'd be way cool.
I'm sure shipping wouldn't be more than $10-15US.
