Hello. I have just bought my new truck, a 1995 Holden Jackaroo, I traded up from an 1983 Jack. I have been on a few small trips and love the truck but am already looking for more clearance. I have no idea and have read the articles in here and am wondering if any has a phone number of someone preferably in Queensland that i could talk to. Thankyou for your time.

Hello Timma, welcome to the board. I am fairly new around here also. But I check in about everyday to see if there are any new posts. Sometime it takes a while to get a reply here. So don't get discuraged if you wait a while for an answer. But there are a few other boards out there that can offer lots of help as well. Here are the links to them. There seem to be more people outside the U.S. on the first one that know more about the Holden. We only have the Isuzu name here.

And a good place to buy aftermarket lifts and such. [ftp]http://www.independent4x.com/[/ftp]
Good luck! Charles

Just install some Old Man Emu 912 rear coils (should be readily available in Australia!), and crank your front torsion bars to match. That will gain you 1"-1.5", and improve ride, handling, and load carrying all in one mod. It is an easy do-it-yourself project.
If you want more clearance than that, just get 1" or 2" coil spacers. You can lift up to 3" - 3.5" without much problem. After that you are looking at body lifts and such.
